WHAT YOU WILL YOU BE DOING?
As our SEO Specialist, you will be the driving force behind our SEO efforts, serving as the sole expert in this area. You will take ownership of all SEO fundamentals and concepts, including keyword research, on-page and off-page optimisation, content strategy, link building, and technical SEO. Your role will involve managing both local and global SEO initiatives, conducting comprehensive website analysis, and staying abreast of industry trends and algorithm updates.
Although you will be the only dedicated SEO specialist, you will have the support of a wider global digital marketing team to lean on and collaborate with. You’ll work closely with our in-house marketers, developers, and freelance experts to create and execute effective SEO strategies that boost our online presence and drive organic traffic. Your role will require you to solve complex SEO challenges, leveraging your analytical skills to develop innovative solutions and optimise performance.
Your ability to communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams will be crucial in ensuring our SEO goals are met and exceeded
YOU WILL NEED…
- 3+ years’ experience in an SEO specialised role
- To be able to work within Australia with unrestricted working rights for 3+ years
- To be able to commit to 3/4 days a week working closely to AEST time zones
- Experience working within the Australian market – we need someone who can localise our SEO to each states with a proven track record of doing this
- Experience using industry standard SEO tools, e.g. Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush etc
- Previous experience utilising Hubspot
- To be confident in working independently when solving complex SEO problems
- A passion to work within a creative environment of VFX, Animation, Game Development and Visual Digital Design
- Further knowledge and understandings of wider digital marketing channels and their impact upon SEO protocols
- Strong data analytic skills, with the abilty to turn statistics into innovative strategy
- To want to work in a forward-thinking and ever changing environment
IT’S NICE TO HAVE…
- Experience within igaming, esports, animation, gaming, vfx or similar technical industries
