WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
- Ensure servers, networks, and storage systems are available, perform well, and are secure.
- Manage and watch over all installed systems and infrastructure.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Install, set up, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Create and keep detailed documentation for all systems and processes.
- Give technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff.
- Work with the IT team to improve infrastructure and processes.
- Regularly check and maintain systems to ensure they are available and performing well.
- Respond to and solve infrastructure-related problems and service requests.
- Assess and implement new technologies and solutions to improve operations.
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE?
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
- Experience with virtualisation technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Skilled in using both Windows and Linux operating systems.
