WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?
You will act as the primary client liaison, building and maintaining strong, lasting relationships by effectively managing client expectations, addressing concerns, and guiding projects with precision and clarity. A proactive mindset will be essential, as you anticipate client needs, ensure seamless communication, and help deliver a best-in-class experience throughout the project lifecycle.
With end-to-end project ownership, you will oversee all aspects of the process, from estimates, timelines, and briefs to managing feedback and stakeholder communications. Your responsibilities will include the management of both large-scale projects and smaller initiatives, ensuring that each runs smoothly, stays on schedule, and aligns with client objectives. You will collaborate with the account director on larger initiatives but also take charge of independent projects, ensuring that execution is flawless and issues are resolved promptly. A significant part of your role will involve structuring meetings, refining briefs, and preparing for client workshops, ensuring that each session delivers valuable insights and results.
Beyond project execution, you will be deeply involved in the strategic and creative elements of client projects, with a particular focus on branding, design, and packaging. You will work closely with design teams to develop creative concepts that align with the client’s vision while maintaining consistency across all deliverables. You will also be responsible for managing conversations with suppliers and retailers, ensuring that production runs smoothly and that packaging meets the highest standards, in both quality and compliance. You will be instrumental in guiding the creative direction and making sure the final product aligns with the brand’s identity and market positioning.
Financial management will be a critical part of your role. You will track budgets, manage scope changes, and handle financial administration, including forecasting, invoicing, and ensuring all expenses are within budget. Additionally, you will contribute to new business efforts by supporting proposal development and identifying opportunities for long-term client growth. Your ability to anticipate market trends, pinpoint client needs, and offer tailored solutions will play a key role in fostering future business relationships and expanding project scopes.
WHAT YOU NEED…
- 3/4+ years’ experience within account management in a branding/creative agency
- Experience working with FMCG brand sold in retailer brick and mortar is necessary
- Experience in packaging design, packaging brand or packaging logistics
- Prior experience within a branding and/or a design agency – must feel comfortable with design principles, branding andamp; strategy
- Prior experience in a client facing role agency side
- Experience working with enterprise account management – FMCG led businesses
- Fantastic time management skills – the ability to jump between projects as and when needed
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
- Experience taking briefs and transforming them into innovative strategy
- To be confident in delegating tasks and project management across a pod
