WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?
You will be the main contact for clients, building strong relationships by managing their expectations, addressing concerns, and guiding them through the project process. Your proactive approach will ensure clear communication and anticipation of client needs. You will identify business development opportunities and act on them directly or involve colleagues as needed.
Often, you’ll be the primary support for account management, sometimes assisting an account director on larger projects.
You will lead day-to-day project management, including preparing estimates, timelines, briefs, feedback, and correspondence with clients and internal stakeholders. You’ll ensure the project team delivers on time and find solutions to any issues or changes in scope. Responsibilities include organising team meetings, developing briefs, and preparing for client meetings and workshops.
You will adapt processes to meet client needs, provide regular progress updates, and engage with the work to understand the strategic thinking and creative development. Building good interpersonal relationships, you’ll help clients feel valued and understood. You’ll seek opportunities to exceed client expectations and provide seamless service.
Managing project profitability is key. You’ll track time, update costs, manage scope creep, and handle financial administration, including purchase orders, billing, and income forecasts. You will also support the new business team in preparing proposals.
WHAT YOU NEED…
- 3/4+ years’ experience within account management in a branding/creative agency
- Prior experience within a branding and/or a design agency – must feel comfortable with design principles, branding andamp; strategy
- Prior experience in a client facing role agency side
- Experience working with enterprise account management – Corporate/service led businesses
- Fantastic time management skills – the ability to jump between projects as and when needed
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
- Experience taking briefs and transforming them into innovative strategy
- To be confident in delegating tasks and project management across a pod
- Be able to start ASAP – before the end of August
