What you’ll be doing:

You’ll manage and optimise day-to-day remittance operations, ensuring all transactions are accurate, secure, and timely. A key focus of the role is onboarding new remittance partners and business clients, including conducting due diligence, reviewing ASIC extracts, and verifying all necessary documentation to meet compliance standards. You’ll oversee regulatory compliance across AML/CTF obligations, AUSTRAC reporting and international remittance regulations, while identifying process improvements, managing risk and fraud, and liaising with banking partners and payment providers.

You’ll also support customer service by resolving escalations and enhancing the client experience, track KPIs, generate reports, and provide insights to senior management to inform strategic decisions.

What you’ll need:

  • 3+ years’ experience in operations management, preferably in fintech, remittance, or related financial services sectors.
  • The desire to work in a start-up environment
  • Hands-on experience managing the onboarding of new partners/businesses and understanding of associated compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
  • Exceptional organisational, time management, and analytical abilities.
  • High computer literacy and experience reviewing ASIC extracts, corporate documents, and financial compliance records.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-driven, adaptable, and able to manage shifting operational priorities
