WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?
You will regularly interact with clients via phone and email to address queries, discuss requirements, and provide updates. You’ll design and implement SEO strategies tailored to client objectives, including keyword research, competitor analysis, and website audits. Managing the execution of SEO campaigns, you’ll oversee timelines and deliverables using project management tools, continuously monitor and analyse performance, and develop content strategies to engage target audiences. Your proactive problem-solving will ensure high client retention and satisfaction, and you will support the sales and tech teams as needed.
You will be crucial in building strong client relationships and driving successful SEO campaigns. Engaging directly with clients, you’ll understand their goals and promptly address their queries, using your SEO expertise to develop customised strategies. You’ll manage every aspect of SEO campaigns, from setting timelines and tracking deliverables to conducting website audits and creating content strategies.
Your role involves maintaining high client retention rates through exceptional service and proactive problem-solving. Collaborating closely with sales and tech teams, you’ll support the agency’s growth while ensuring client satisfaction at every touchpoint. Ultimately, you’ll act as the bridge between the agency and its clients, ensuring seamless execution of SEO initiatives that lead to client success and satisfaction.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED…
- 1+ years’ experience within an SEO specialised account management role
- Agency experience
- A proven track record of creating effective strategies
- Experience using all of the main SEO tools – SEMRUSH, AHREFS, Google Analytics etc
- Prior experience in building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Strong project management skills – you will be jumping across clients and projects quickly
- The desire to be in a pretty hands-on implementation and optimisation role within SEO
- Experience working across enterprise clients
- A strategically driven mindset
- To be able to simplify technical SEO terminology/jargon when speaking with non-marketing stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
