Brand Marketing Manager

  • 4+ years’ experience within an Ecommerce/Retail Marketing role
  • We’re looking for someone who is happy leading all marketing functions – we haven’t got a team yet, we want you to help us grow the marketing department!
  • You must have experience within Ecommerce/Retail in your MOST RECENT role

As part of your responsibilities, you’ll collaborate closely with the CEO to manage brand relationships, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and meeting unique brand needs. You’ll also take the lead in coordinating the rollout of marketing materials across various channels, including email marketing and social media, to maximize reach and engagement.

In addition, you’ll be tasked with enhancing the user experience across our site, utilising your creativity and insights to captivate visitors and drive conversions. Working closely with our creative team, you’ll translate marketing strategies into compelling visual and written content that resonates with our audience, ultimately driving sales and achieving growth targets. You’ll oversee website management and optimisation, continuously seeking opportunities to improve functionality and drive conversion rates.

Beyond these core responsibilities, you’ll leverage your analytical skills to identify market trends and collaborate with our sales and buying teams on innovative merchandising concepts.


  • The desire to be a part of a start-up environment
  • 4+ years’ experience within an Ecommerce/Retail Marketing role
  • You must have experience within Ecommerce/Retail in your MOST RECENT role
  • Experience in online merchandising
  • A strong digital marketing understanding – including Organic Social, eCommerce, SEO, Paid Media and Email Marketing as ESSENTIAL skills
  • Experience creating strategies – staying up to date with trends, tools and softwares too!
  • A strong understanding and experience within brand partnerships
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
  • To be data led
  • The desire to grow a team and own a department in the future
  • Reliable transport to Gisborne – not easily accessed by public transport
